Essential Therapeutics partners with skilled therapists and agencies to create and deliver a variety of pediatric therapy groups. Group therapy sessions teach specific skills while promoting socialization, communication and turn taking. See groups page for more details!

Home-based therapy is provided in the natural setting, which is often the families own home. Community-based therapy may be provided at a restaurant to work on eating with utensils, a grocery store to work on shopping and money management or other locations identified by the family or therapist to promote independence. Essential Therapeutics is passionate about providing holistic therapy with an emphasis on treating the underlying foundational issues to maximize therapy outcomes.

School-based therapy utilizes an educational model that focuses on educational needs and is governed by IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act). Essential Therapeutics is passionate about providing holistic collaborative school based therapy to children, with an emphasis on family communication and teacher education for carry over throughout the week.

Teletherapy is a way for individuals to receive occupational therapy services from remote locations using online communication. We utilize a user-friendly, HIPAA-secure program. Students who receive teletherapy in schools will be supported by an employee of the school (e.g. paraprofessional, teacher) while an individual receiving teletherapy at home will likely be supported by a parent or caregiver.
